Johns Hopkins went 1-2 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in Boyertown. The Blue Jays, who were seeded first, lost to eventual regional champion New Jersey in the opening game, then rebounded to defeat Kean before getting eliminated by DeSales.

Washington lost to host UC Santa Cruz, 4-1, in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament. Washington has players from both its men’s and women’s teams competing in the Individual Championships, beginning today.
