The top of the CC is beginning to have a very familiar look, as the four
traditional front-runners have separated themselves (at least for now)
from the rest of the league. Over the weekend, Ursinus swept Franklin &
Marshall, McDaniel and Muhlenberg both swept Washington, and Gettysburg
took two from Swarthmore.

No. 1 singles player. Muhlenberg can clinch third place by defeating

Muhlenberg has a big week ahead, facing two of its top challengers for the
fourth and final playoff spot, Haverford and McDaniel. The two teams
played each other last week, with McDaniel taking an 11-10 decision ...
Franklin & Marshall put itself solidly in second place with a 17-5
thumping of Washington ... Fifth-ranked Gettysburg couldnt quite come
back from a 9-3 deficit and lost its first game of the season to
second-ranked New Jersey, 11-10.

Franklin & Marshall caused a shakeup in the standings by sweeping Johns
Hopkins, 2-1 and 2-1. That left the door open for McDaniel to move into
first place with its sweep of Swarthmore ... Splits by Gettysburg with
Ursinus and Haverford with Dickinson set up a wild scramble
for the four playoff spots the final two weeks of the season.
