• Baseball: Ursinus 4, Muhlenberg 0. The Mules (18-9-1, 9-5-1) could not get their bats going and were shut out for the first time in 64 games.

Sophomore Aaron Regensburg pitched a complete-game six-hitter and allowed only two earned runs, but was the hard-luck loser. Muhlenberg did not get a runner past first base until the eighth inning, when senior Justin Graf doubled.

Senior Justin Rubenstein had two of the Mules’ five hits, moving into a tie for fourth place on the program’s all-time list with 134 career hits.

• Women’s Lacrosse: Ursinus 17, Muhlenberg 12. Ursinus (7-4, 5-2) jumped out to a 5-0 lead and held on, eliminating the Mules (7-6, 4-4) from Centennial Conference playoff contention.

Freshman Courtney Tapkas scored six goals for her 10th hat trick of the season.

• Women’s Tennis: Muhlenberg 7, Moravian 2. The Mules (10-3) closed out their dual-match season with a home win against their local rivals, who were undefeated and captured the MAC championship in the fall (their traditional season).

Muhlenberg finished with double digits in wins for the third straight year and extended its winning streak to 10 – one short of the school record. The Mules also won their 20th straight match on their home courts.

The top four players in the lineup — juniors Gena Ross and Mackenzie Parke, sophomore Emily Oster and freshman Amy Schmidt — all won at both singles and doubles in their final preparation for this weekend’s Centennial Conference Individual Championships.

With their 8-3 win at No. 2, Schmidt and Oster became the fifth doubles team in program history to win 10 matches in a season. Schmidt won her ninth straight singles match and finished the regular season with a team-best 21 combined wins. Oster needed three sets for her singles win, against a Moravian player who was undefeated in the fall.

Parke (10) and Ross (nine) both extended their singles winning streaks with straight-set victories.

• Men’s Golf: In its final tuneup for the Centennial Conference Championships, Muhlenberg finished fourth at Elizabethtown’s Blue Jay Classic, held at the Country Club of Hershey’s East Course.

Senior Todd Scolnick was one of only nine golfers in the tournament to break 80.
