WEATHER CONTINUES TO WREAK HAVOC WITH SCHEDULE
The baseball game at Haverford that was rained out yesterday was rained out again today. It is rescheduled for Thursday, April 10, at 3:30. Todays scheduled womens lacrosse game at Ursinus was postponed. The Elizabethtown Invitational, a mens golf tournament, was rescheduled for Wednesday, April 23. |
MENS LACROSSE COMEBACK FALLS SHORT
The Muhlenberg mens lacrosse team dropped its sixth straight, falling under the lights at Swarthmore, 7-6, in a game originally scheduled to be at home. The Mules trailed 7-2 going into the fourth quarter but came back to score four goals, cutting the gap to one on a score with 4:46 left. They had an extra-man opportunity in the final two minutes but could not tie the game. Sophomore Justin Saverine scored two goals for the Mules (4-6, 0-6). |
Mens Tennis Wins Fourth Straight
The Muhlenberg mens tennis team swept the doubles and won five of six singles matches to earn its fourth straight win, 6-1 against Franklin & Marshall. Senior Brad Scheller at No. 1 singles won 6-0, 6-0. Sophomore Jeff Kraft at second singles won both his sets with a score of 6-1. Cameron Parke lost his first set 6-4, but came back 6-1 in the second and 10-6 in the third. Senior Matt Fleissig also posted wins in both singles and doubles play while teammates Brad Gutwillig and Adam Nodiff added a win at No. 3 doubles. |
