Two More Earn Academic Accolades
Two Muhlenberg athletes have been named to the 2003 Verizon Academic All-District College Division Cross Country/Track & Field Team, chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America. They join the four Mules who received similar recognition on the at-large team last week. To be nominated for the Verizon Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and a starter or significant reserve on his or her team. Both Muhlenberg representatives senior Jason App and sophomore Christopher Martin were second-team selections.
