SCHEDULE CHANGES Moravian Softball Game Postponed Todays softball game against Moravian has been postponed because of rain. A make-up date has not yet been determined. The softball team has added a home doubleheader against Ithaca to its schedule, on Sunday, April 4. The two teams were to have played on March 20 at the Kean Tournament, but the games were cancelled due to bad weather. Baseball: The game against Misericordia, snowed out on March 17, has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 18, at 1:00. Womens lacrosse: The game at Cedar Crest on Thursday, April 8, will be rescheduled. Cedar Crest had to reschedule a conference game for that date. |
The Muhlenberg womens tennis team picked up its third shutout in its
last four matches, blanking Haverford, 9-0.
The Mules (5-2, 3-0) cruised to victory at No. 1 doubles and won tight second
The top Berg doubles pair of senior Gena Ross and sophomore Amy Schmidt posted an 8-0 win to improve to 4-1 on the season. Senior Mackenzie Parke and freshman Pam Kimmelman remained undefeated at 7-0 with a 9-7 win. Senior Sarah Niebler moved into a tie for second place behind Parke on the Muhlenberg combined wins list with her doubles victory with junior Emily Oster and her 6-0, 6-1 win at sixth singles. Schmidt, Kimmelman and Parke each also lost three games or fewer in their singles matches. Schmidt is 6-1 at singles, while Kimmelman and Parke are both 5-2. |
