Splits were the order of the week, as four of the six CC doubleheaders
that were played ended with each team winning a game ... The only sweep
was by McDaniel against Franklin & Marshall ... The second game of the
Ursinus-Swarthmore doubleheader was suspended after five innings with the
score tied at 2-2 ... Every team in the CC has at least one CC win.

Womens Lacrosse

Gettysburg extended its CC winning streak to 21 by defeating Franklin &
Marshall (15-10) and Washington (18-12) ... McDaniel kept pace with the
Bullets with an 18-6 win against Bryn Mawr ... Ursinus, the next opponent
for Muhlenberg, knocked off Rowan, 10-7.

Baseball
|
All of Fridays slate was wiped out by weather, and only two Saturday
doubleheaders were played. Dickinson swept Ursinus in one of them, and
Franklin & Marshall took two from Washington in the other ... F&M beat
Ursinus, 11-9, on Tuesday ... Johns Hopkins remained the only undefeated
team in Division III with wins against New Jersey and Dickinson.

Haverford scored the upset of the year so far by toppling 10th-ranked
Franklin & Marshall, 9-5. The Fords were outshot, 52-22, bu their goalie
made 30 saves for the programs first-ever win against a top-10 team
... Ursinus was upset-minded as well and had a 4-2 lead in the third
quarter before No. 3 Washington rallied for a 7-4 win ... Gettysburg fell
to No. 1 Salisbury, 12-6.

The Muhlenberg womens golf team braved cool temperatures and high
winds and opened its season with its best team score ever and a
fourth-place finish in its

Fazio tied for the 15th-best individual score in her
first collegiate action.

Muhlenberg Spring Invitational at Lehigh Country Club.
Despite the poor conditions and a tough course, junior Kristen
Bruschi shot a 102 to lead the Mules to a 424 team score. Muhlenberg
placed ahead of Centennial Conference foe Ursinus and behind Lehigh, Mount
St. Marys and Gettysburg.
Bruschi tied for the 12th-best individual score of the day, 18 strokes
behind the leader, but only five strokes out of the top five.
A trio of freshmen also contributed to the Mule score. Kristen
Amore and Laura Fazio each shot a 104, and Lindsay Scott
put up a 114.
