The Mules won their second Centennial Conference championship in three years with a perfect 10-0 mark in the league and compiled an overall record of 12-3. Their losses were to the teams ranked fourth (Washington &

In the Atlantic South Region, Muhlenberg is ranked eighth. The top seven teams received bids to the NCAA Tournament.

The doubles team of senior Gena Ross and sophomore Amy Schmidt rates 24th in Division III and fifth in the region after combining for a 10-3 record. They lost twice to the 21st-ranked doubles team in the nation and once to the third-ranked duo.

For singles play, Schmidt (18-2) is ranked 14th in the region and Ross (8-6) is 20th. Both of Schmidt’s losses were to nationally ranked players, and she defeated the 11th-ranked player in the region, 6-2, 6-2.

Schmidt also paired up with junior Emily Oster for a win against a New Jersey doubles team that received All-America status.
