The Muhlenberg football team received 14 votes in the
D3football.com preseason top 25, which is voted on by a panel of 25
coaches, sports information directors and media members from across the
country.
Muhlenberg went 7-3 overall, 5-1 within the Centennial Conference in 2003, earning a share of the conference championship and its second consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III tournament. The Mules return 14 starters from last year’s squad, including five all-conference selections. Muhlenberg’s first contest of the 2004 season is slated for Saturday, Sept. 4, when the team takes on Kings Point, which got 11 votes in the poll, at home. Other CC schools included in the poll were Johns Hopkins, ranking 25th, and Gettysburg, which also received votes. |
