Due to heavy rains and flooding, Lehigh Country Club was not ready to play for the Muhlenberg Spring Classic, so the women’s golf team postponed its home tournament to next Monday, April 11.

The Muhlenberg men’s golf team struggled in windy conditions and finished 13th at its second spring tournament, the Lebanon Valley Spring Invitational.

Most team scores were driven up 20-30 strokes from the tournament played on the same course in September. The Mules added 29 strokes to their score and dropped three places.

Only three golfers broke 80 (compared to 30 in the fall) and 46 broke 90 (compared to 82). Junior Chris Walach was the lone Muhlenberg golfer in the 80s, tying for sixth with an 81.
