TWO MULES HEADED TO TRACK NATIONALS
Senior John Brodowski and junior Danielle Seiler of the
Muhlenberg track and field program have qualified to participate
in the NCAA Division III Championships, scheduled for May 26-28 at
Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.
Both will be making repeat trips to the national meet.
For the third year in a row, Brodowski has qualified in the decathlon. He
finished 13th in 2003 and 14th last season. Brodowskis qualifying
score
of 6,405 is 14th among the 16 entrants.
Seiler is returning to the NCAAs in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles for
the second straight year. She was 17th last year. Seilers qualifying
time
of 1:03.04 is 11th out of the 20 competitors invited.
The decathlon is scheduled to begin at 11:00 Central time on Thursday,
with five events contested that day and five more on Friday. The trials
for the 400 hurdles are set for 4:35 on Thursday, with the finals slated
for 3:25 on Saturday.
