James
Goldman
Sophomore James Goldman had the Mules’ “easiest” singles win, taking his two sets 7-5 and 6-4. He has a team-best 4-2 singles record this spring.
The Muhlenberg men’s tennis team completed a 2-0 weekend with a 4-3 win at Ramapo in a tightly contested match.

The Mules and Roadrunners seemed intent on using the extra hour of daylight available with the switch to Daylight Savings Time. All three doubles matches and five of the six singles contests were close, making for a lengthy afternoon in Mahwah.

In the final match on the courts, junior Michael DiVita won his third set, 6-3, to give Muhlenberg (3-3) the win. DiVita forced a third set by winning a second-set tiebreaker.

Senior Adam Nodiff also won in three sets at No. 1 singles and teamed with freshman Brian Wernick for an 8-6 victory at first doubles. Nodiff went a combined 4-0 on the weekend.

The doubles point came down to No. 3, where freshmen Andrew Brick and Timothy Ness won in a tiebreaker.
