Courtney Tapkas Senior Courtney Tapkas of the Muhlenberg women’s lacrosse team has been named to the All-Centennial Conference first team for the second year in a row.

Tapkas is the first lacrosse player in Muhlenberg history to earn first-team All-CC honors twice. (Dana Diorio ’93 was a two-time first-team selection in the MAC.) She also is the first Mule to earn All-CC honors all four years, having earned honorable mention as a freshman and second-team recognition two years ago.

Tapkas finished the season with 64 points on a CC-leading 51 goals and 13 assists. She ranked second in the conference with 24 goals in league games.

By scoring eight goals in her last game, Tapkas ended her career as the second all-time leading goal-scorer in CC history with 218 goals. She tied for 10th on the CC all-time list with 262 points. Tapkas holds the school records for points in a career and season (84), goals in a career, season (73) and game (nine) and hat tricks in a career (37) and season (12). She scored a goal in all but three of her 60 games played.

The lone Muhlenberg player voted to the All-CC team, Tapkas helped the Mules set a school record for wins with a 10-6 record in 2006.
