Neither of the two Muhlenberg seniors competing at the NCAA Track & Field Championships qualified for the finals in their events.

In the 1,500 meters, Karen Mount finished seventh in her heat and 15th of 19 runners overall. The top four in each heat plus the next four fastest times advanced to Saturday’s final.

Danielle Seiler placed 16th in the 400 hurdles after coming in fifth in her heat. The heat winners and the next six fastest made the final.

The Mules’ third national qualifier, junior Sarah Mitchell, competes in the javelin on Saturday.
