Two members of the Muhlenberg softball team were voted to the All-Centennial Conference team.

Junior pitcher Nicole Washburn was a first-team selection, and senior first base Missy DeFrain made the second team.

Washburn (left), who moved up after earning second-team honors last year, was the ace of the Mules’ staff, going 11-7 with a 1.83 ERA (third in the CC) and striking out 78 while walking only nine in 115 innings. She tossed three shutouts, two in Centennial Conference games, and also hit .288. For her career, Washburn is 22-18 with a 2.39 ERA.

DeFrain hit .286 in CC games to earn all-conference honors for the second time in her career. She made only one error in 227 chances and finished her career as Muhlenberg’s all-time leader with a .987 fielding percentage.
