Women’s tennis tunes up with win
For the first time since 2004, the Mules (10-4) swept the singles matches after losing two of three doubles matches. Against the Blue Jays (10-5), all six of their singles wins were in straight sets. Sophomores Caitie Druker and Sara Sutker paired up for the lone doubles win. Sutker went on to take her No. 4 singles match, 6-0, 6-0, extending her winning streak to 10. She has lost only eight games in her last nine singles sets. Senior Carly Rotfeld also extended her winning streak to 10 with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles against an opponent who came in with a 7-0 record. It was Rotfeld’s 90th career win. She has not played a set closer than 6-3 during the streak.
The bottom four players in the Muhlenberg singles lineup all won for the third match in a row.
