kalis, conti earn all-cc baseball honors

Seniors John Kalis and Christian Conti of the Muhlenberg baseball team were selected to the All-Centennial Conference second team.

Kalis (left), a designated hitter, batted an even .300 with two home runs and 19 RBI in 2009. He was second on the team with a .353 average in CC games and finished his career fourth on the Mules’ all-time list with 149 career hits.

Conti (right), the 2008 CC player of the year, missed almost a quarter of the CC schedule due to inury. Overall, the outfielder hit a team-leading .356 with five home runs and 23 RBI. He ended his career as the program’s all-time leader in extra-base hits (55) and slugging percentage (.669).
