Sophomore Alyssa Bruckner of the Muhlenberg softball team was named pitcher of the week by the Centennial Conference.
Bruckner allowed no runs and only eight hits in 17 innings, earning two wins and a save in three appearances. She tossed the Mules' first no-hitter in 19 years against
Dickinson, striking out five and and allowing only one ball to be hit out of the infield.
After a four-hit shutout of Washington, she pitched three scoreless innings in
relief against Susquehanna to record her first career save. Opponents hit .131 off Bruckner in the three games.
For the season, Bruckner is 6-5 with a 2.06 ERA. She is eighth in the CC in ERA and tied for second with four shutouts.
