Program Overview The staff is led by Head Athletic Trainer Steve Nemes, Assistant Athletic Trainers Lindsay Weiss and Brian Perez and part-time Assistant Athletic Trainer Terri Carbone. The core of our staff is the 8-10 student First Aiders. The student first aiders are truly the “right arm” of the
athletic training staff. These are work-study positions where the student
first aider is responsible for assisting in the daily activities of team
coverage. These responsibilities include but are not limited to pre and post
practice/game preparation, and under the supervision of certified athletic
training staff members first aiders help with the coverage of home practices
and games. They also have the opportunity to travel with the teams to some of
the best small liberal arts schools in the Northeast. Many of our teams also
schedule games, either in season or out of season, which may include
participating in such places as This is a very fulfilling experience. The hours are flexible, which
provides the student the chance to explore many of the other excellent
extracurricular opportunities found at If you would like more information or are interested in becoming a student first aider please call Steve Nemes at 484-664-3391. |
