Season review
Muhlenberg put together a historic season, winning the Centennial Conference championship and reaching the “Sweet 16” of the NCAA Tournament.

May 13: Boyle honored by LVAIAW
Senior Lauren Boyle was named Muhlenberg’s top female athlete of the year by the Lehigh Valley Association of Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women.

Bethany Enterline April 3: Three named to Academic Honor Roll
Senior Bethany Enterline (right) was one of three Muhlenberg women’s basketball players named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the winter 2008-09 season.

March 19: Chili named rookie of the year
Freshman Alexandra Chili and head coach Ron Rohn were honored by D3hoops.com.

March 13: Run ends in Sweet 16
Muhlenberg went almost eight minutes without scoring in the first half and could never recover, falling to Brandeis 82-70 in the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

March 12: NCAA Sweet 16 preview
The Mules are in uncharted territory but will face an opponent that is in the same boat in the NCAA Division III Round of 16.

Lauren Boyle March 10: Boyle an All-America finalist
Muhlenberg senior Lauren Boyle (left) was named a finalist for the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-America team for the second straight year.

March 8: Muhlenberg headed back north
The Mules will travel to Massachusetts, not Maine, for the next two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. The Mules will play at Amherst in their first Sweet 16 ever.

Kaitlyn O'Malley March 7: SWEET!! Mules into Sweet 16
Muhlenberg advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Tournament with a 58-57 win at Bowdoin, which had never lost an NCAA Tournament game at home. The Mules will play Brandeis next weekend at a site to be determined. Muhlenberg took control of the game at the end of the first half with a 13-2 run that included a three-pointer by junior Kaitlyn O’Malley (right).

Erin McSherry March 6: Muhlenberg advances to NCAA second round
Lauren Boyle scored a season-high 23 points, Erin McSherry (left) tied a school record with six blocked shots, and Alexandra Chili made six three-pointers to lead the Mules to an 80-63 win against Westfield State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

March 5: NCAA preview
The Mules will draw on the experience of two previous appearances – and maybe a little luck – when they travels to Bowdoin for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

March 2: Mules headed to Maine
Muhlenberg will travel to Bowdoin for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. The Mules are slated to play Westfield State in the first round.

Alexandra Chili March 1: CC CHAMPS!
Freshman Alexandra Chili (right) scored 18 of her game-high 23 points in the first half as Muhlenberg captured its third Centennial Conference championship in four years with a 76-55 win against Johns Hopkins. The Mules are the first CC team to win five titles.

Sheila Cook February 28: Muhlenberg moves on to final
Sophomore Sheila Cook (left) scored a career-high 26 points to lead Muhlenberg to a 67-51 win over McDaniel in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference playoffs. The Mules will host Johns Hopkins for the championship.

February 27: Championship preview
After going undefeated in the regular season, Muhlenberg needs two more wins for its fifth Centennial Conference title.

February 24: Boyle earns third first-team nod
Senior Lauren Boyle became the eighth player in the Centennial Conference women’s basketball history to earn first-team all-league honors three times. Three other Mules received recognition, including first-team selection Kelly McKeon, and Ron Rohn was named coach of the year.

February 23: Playoff schedule set; McKeon repeats
Muhlenberg will host the Centennial Conference semifinals and final. Sophomore Kelly McKeon was honored by the CC for the second straight week.

Kimberly Mui February 21: 18-0! Muhlenberg completes perfect season
Freshman Alexandra Chili hit a three-pointer with 1.2 seconds left to give Muhlenberg a 68-65 win at Ursinus and the first undefeated 18-0 season in Centennial Conference history. Sophomore Kelly McKeon had a triple-double (13 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) to lead the Mules back from a 15-point deficit, and freshman Kimberly Mui (right) made a key steal in the last minute.

February 18: Mules escape with two-point win; one step away from perfect season
The Mules survived a last-second desperation shot that drew iron and won at Dickinson, 67-65, to remain undefeated in the CC.

February 17: Boyle honored locally
Senior Lauren Boyle was named to the Lehigh Valley Small College Team of the Year.

February 16: McKeon named player of the week
Sophomore Kelly McKeon was named Centennial Conference player of the week after leading the Mules to two big wins.

Kelly McKeon February 14: Mules reach 20-win mark
Muhlenberg won its 16th straight Centennial Conference game, 63-54 at Johns Hopkins, to reach the 20-win mark for the third time in four seasons. Sophomore Kelly McKeon (left) came up three assists short of a triple-double, finishing with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.

Kaitlin Strumph February 10: Muhlenberg sets record on Senior Night
Muhlenberg became the first team to start out 15-0 in the Centennial Conference by defeating Swarthmore, 78-55. Kaitlin Strumph (right) was one of four Mule seniors honored prior to the game.

February 6: Boyle earns Academic All-District honors
Senior Lauren Boyle was named to the Academic All-District team for the third year in a row.

Maiza Mock February 5: Mules clinch regular-season title
Muhlenberg clinched the Centennial Conference regular-season title and hosting rights for the semifinals and final with a 72-47 home win against Bryn Mawr. Junior Maiza Mock (left) had 6 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
