A weekly look at what’s going on in the Centennial Conference:
Women’s Basketball
In the key West Division game of the week, Gettysburg rebounded from a 14-point deficit to defeat Franklin & Marshall, 76-70, and cause a three-way tie for second ... Johns Hopkins kept its perfect CC record with easy wins against Washington and Bryn Mawr ... Washington, the next opponent for Muhlenberg, picked up its first CC win by defeating Ursinus, 71-60 ... McDaniel hosts both Gettysburg and Johns Hopkins this week ... Swarthmore and Muhlenberg meet with first place on the line in the East on Saturday. Before that, the Garnet hosts Ursinus on Tuesday, and the Mules travel to Washington on Wednesday.

Johns Hopkins took the early lead in the CC by sweeping Muhlenberg (23-14) and Gettysburg (33-6) on Saturday. The Blue Jays host Ursinus in an important match this Tuesday ... Ursinus also travels to McDaniel for a CC tri-match with Washington & Lee on Saturday.

Men’s Basketball
Ursinus delivered the biggest shocker of the week, erasing a 17-point deficit in the final eight minutes to win at Franklin & Marshall, 83-82 ... The Diplomats, who entered the week ranked 15th in Division III, rebounded to knock off Gettysburg, 63-52, in a rematch of last season’s CC championship game ... McDaniel scored with two seconds left to defeat Dickinson, 70-68, and match its CC win total from all of last year ... Muhlenberg’s next opponent, Washington, saw its losing streak reach seven by dropping games to 25th-ranked Johns Hopkins and Ursinus.
