Muhlenberg’s final home wrestling match of the season, scheduled for Friday, has been changed to a 7:30 start. The competition will consist of a single match between the Mules and Messiah. Gallaudet, which was scheduled to be included in a tri-match, has decided not to send its team.

The Muhlenberg women’s basketball team received outstanding efforts from its post players and defeated Haverford, 84-57.

With three of the Mules’ regular forwards out for the game, junior Jill Friedman and freshmen Lacie Smith, Michelle Hirst and Stephanie Coluccini combined for 39 points and 37 rebounds. Muhlenberg (14-7, 10-1) enjoyed a 53-36 advantage over the Fords (7-13, 4-8) on the boards.

Friedman recorded her third double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds and also tied a career high with four blocked shots. Smith (14 points), Hirst (10 rebounds) and Coluccini (eight rebounds, four assists) all set or tied career bests.

Representing the guards were sophomore Gwen Doyle, who scored 14 points, and junior Erin DeVaney, who tied a career high with 10 points. The pair combined to make five of six three-pointers in the first half, when the Mules shot 51.4 percent and scored 48 points.
