DePaul by more than a point per game. Only one other women’s team is averaging at least 90 points a game – California (Pa.), the top-ranked team in Division II.

Muhlenberg has a big lead over the second-leading scoring team in Division III. Mississippi College averages 82.0 points per game, down from 85.6 last week.

The Mules also rank second in Division III and all of NCAA women’s basketball with 10.3 three-pointers made per game. Waynesburg leads with an average of 10.6, and no other Division III team makes more than eight threes per game. The only other squad averaging double figures in three-pointers is Division II Northern Colorado, at 10.1.

In the rankings that are based on opinions, rather than statistics, Muhlenberg is 27th in both the D3hoops.com and Women’s Basketball Coaches Association polls. The Mules’ next opponent, Johns Hopkins, is ranked 13th and 15th, respectively, in the two polls.
