A weekly look at what’s going on in the Centennial Conference:

Women’s Basketball
Muhlenberg was left as the only undefeated team in the CC when Johns Hopkins lost at DeSales, 60-48. Earlier in the week, the Blue Jays climbed to No. 12 in the national rankings and recorded a 20-point win against Swarthmore ... Franklin & Marshall notched its first three wins of the season, defeating CC foes Gettysburg, Haverford and Bryn Mawr. Gettysburg has lost six in a row ... Washington picked up its first CC win, 65-50 against Bryn Mawr ... McDaniel lost a non-conference game to Gwynedd-Mercy, 66-62.

Men’s Basketball
Three CC schools went up against Division I teams, and Gettysburg came the closest to pulling off an upset, falling at Navy, 61-60. Haverford stayed close in a 79-62 loss to Davidson, and Bucknell had little trouble with Dickinson, winning 79-36 ... Winless Dickinson did give Johns Hopkins a tough battle, taking a one-point lead into the locker room before the Blue Jays rallied in the second half for an 82-71 victory ... Gettysburg’s other close loss of the week was a 74-72 setback at Franklin & Marshall ... Washington suffered its first loss of the season, 87-78 to Villa Julie.
