Senior Kodi Shay of the Muhlenberg football team has been named to the 26th Annual College Sports Information Directors (SIDs) Division III

Shay finished his career sixth in team history with 3,118 all-purpose yards and 1,852 receiving yards. He also was the ninth Mule to catch 100 passes.

All-America football team. He was a second-team choice as a kick returner.

The only Division III player to rank in the top 20 in the nation in both kickoff returns and punt returns, Shay averaged 30.5 yards on 12 kickoff returns (fifth in Division III) and 13.7 yards on 29 punt returns (19th) with one touchdown. He also excelled as a wide receiver, catching 52 passes for 11 touchdowns and a 19.7 yard average to rank 19th in Division III in receiving yards per game (102.5). Shay, the Centennial Conference offensive player of the year and a first-team all-league selection at both kick returner and wide receiver, was eighth in Division III with 186.6 all-purpose yards per game.

Shay is the 20th All-American in Muhlenberg football history, and the 11th on the SIDs’ team, which is the longest running football All-America program in Division III. This marks the fifth consecutive year that the Mules have had an All-American, and the fourth time in those five years that their kick returner has made the elite team:
