For the third straight weekend, the Muhlenberg men’s basketball team fell behind early on the road and could not catch up, falling to The College of New Jersey, 65-49, in the last Muhlenberg athletic event of the year 2005.

The Lions (7-2) scored the first five points of the game and led by nine at halftime. The Mules (5-4) drew to within six twice in the second half and had one possession with a chance to get even closer, but a late 11-0 TCNJ run sealed the game.

Muhlenberg shot just 30.8 percent for the game and was outrebounded by 12.

Junior Tom Scott scored 12 of his team-high 14 points in the second half.
