a pin as the Muhlenberg wrestling team defeated Messiah for the first time in 21 years, 31-11.

The Mules (7-3) had lost their last nine meetings with the Falcons (4-9). In last year’s 26-21 loss, Muhlenberg won the first two bouts and led 21-12 before Messiah captured the last three bouts.

This time around, the Mules took the first five bouts to open up an insurmountable 22-0 lead. Tenenhaus’ first career pin as a 125-pounder (he had two at 133 last year) and Kein’s sixth win in his last seven bouts were sandwiched around a 6-0 decision by freshman Billy Hall.

Sophomore Joseph DeCampo followed by decisioning his opponent for the second time this season, and senior Dale Mills notched his team-leading fifth major decision of the season.
