After winning the Centennial Conference regular-season championship, the Muhlenberg women’s basketball team had two of its members – senior point guard Kristen Piscadlo and junior center Meghan Courtney – named to the All-CC first team.

Kristen PiscadloPiscadlo (left) leads the CC and is 14th in Division III with her average of 5.96 assists per game. She has broken the school records for assists in a season (149) and career (409) this year, and in CC history ranks third on the single-season list and fourth on the career chart. Piscadlo, who received All-CC honorable mention last year, also is averaging 9.2 points per game and leads the Mules in three-pointers (34) and steals (51). She is 13th in Muhlenberg history in points (826), second in three-pointers (153) and fifth in steals (193).

Meghan CourtneyCourtney (right) ranks in the top 10 in the CC in scoring (fourth at 15.2 points per game), rebounding (sixth at 8.6 rebounds per game), field-goal percentage (eighth at .459) and blocked shots (third with 34). She has scored in double figures in all but four games, topping the 20-point mark six times. Twice named the CC player of the week, Courtney has seven double-doubles and has led the Mules in scoring and/or rebounding in each of her last 14 games. Her season total of 364 points is the ninth-highest in team history.

Piscadlo and Courtney are the first pair of Muhlenberg teammates to land on the first team in the same season. The Mules had a total of only four first-team selections in the first 12 years of the CC.

Muhlenberg, 23-2 overall and ranked 15th in Division III, won the CC regular-season title with a 16-2 league record and will host the conference semifinals and final this weekend.
