Lauren Boyle
Boyle finished with eight points.
reached the 20-win mark with a 77-58 win at Mount St. Vincent.

With three games left in the regular season, the 22nd-ranked Mules (20-2) are one win away from the school record of 21, set four years ago.

The Dolphins (6-15), who started no player taller than 5-8 on their Senior Night, played zone against a much bigger Muhlenberg team. The game was tied at 14 with just under eight minutes to go in the first half before the Mules began to penetrate the zone and make shots.

Freshman Lauren Boyle played a big role in turning the tide, hitting back-to-back baskets to put Muhlenberg ahead for good, at 18-14. She also had a block and a steal, then drove to the basket and dished to junior Meghan Courtney for a baseline jumper that made the score 24-18.

Mount St. Vincent hit two free throws with 4:18 left to stay within six (26-20), but the Mules effectively slammed the door with a 10-0 run that included back-to-back three-pointers by senior Tiffany Kirk, one off a skip pass from Boyle.

Courtney finished with a team-high 12 points, while Kirk added 11. Sophomore Abra Like scored a career-high 10 points.

Piscadlo’s 10 assists came with only one turnover. She is only 12 assists away from breaking the Muhlenberg career record.
