Karchner (right) finished first out of six competitors with 3,102 points, the second-best score in team history. He set personal bests in each of the first three events, with his 55-meter high hurdles (8.2) and long jump (21-¾) marks landing in the top 10 on the Mules all-time performance lists. Carter recorded 3,015 points, two more than he did last year at the same meet. He won the last event, the 1,000 meters, by more than five seconds to surpass the ECAC qualifying standard of 3,000 points. For the women, senior Rachel Drosdick won with 2,670 points, missing the ECAC mark by 30 points. She did qualify for ECACs in the long jump. Senior Kim David accumulated 2,212 points. |
