Tennis Teams Swept by Ranked Foes

Both Muhlenberg tennis teams opened the spring season with 9-0 road losses to formidable competition. The women lost to Vassar, ranked 25th in Division III, while the men fell to Swarthmore, ranked seventh in the Atlantic South Region. The latter contest was the first Centennial Conference match for Swarthmore, which competed as an independent for the previous 23 years.
