kirk named athlete of the week

Junior Brendan Kirk of the Muhlenberg men’s indoor track and field team was named Centennial Conference athlete of the week.

At Susquehanna’s Orange & Maroon Classic, Kirk anchored the 4x400 (first place) and 4x200 (sixth place) relay teams, finished second in the high hurdles and placed fourth in the 400 meters. His hurdles time of 8.21 seconds was just one one-hundredth of a second off his personal best, set last year.

On the CC ranked performance lists, Kirk is second in the 55 hurdles and third in the 400.
