gogel earns all-region honors

Senior Joseph Gogel of the Muhlenberg men’s soccer team was named to the All-Mid-Atlantic Region third team, as selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

A first-team All-Centennial Conference selection, Gogel made the most of his only year as a starter. He played all but 41 minutes in goal for the season, ranking third in the CC in goals-against average (0.75), save percentage (.811) and shutouts (8). Gogel was 37th in Division III in goals-against average.
