women’s basketball ranked 12th

The Muhlenberg women’s basketball team dropped from No. 9 to No. 12 in the D3hoops.com national poll.

The Mules had their seven-game winning streak snapped with a 72-71 overtime loss to McDaniel last week. It was almost two losses in a row, but Muhlenberg beat previously undefeated Gettysburg, 60-59, in its next game. The Bullets dropped from 21st to 24th in the poll following their one-point loss. Muhlenberg is 2-1 against teams in the top 25, with wins against No. 14 Moravian and Gettysburg, both on the road, and a home loss to No. 6 Scranton.

Muhlenberg fell to No. 18 in the WBCA poll.
