men’s tennis back in business

The Muhlenberg men’s tennis team welcomed back two veterans and defeated Penn State Berks, 7-2, in its 2010 season opener.

Two Mules who were starters in 2008 but were not with the team last spring won their matches. Senior Mark Apostolos (near left) teamed up with freshman Ari Nutovits for an 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles, and junior Robbie Goldwein returned with an 8-2 victory at No.2 singles.

Senior Matt Kral and junior Wayne Mitchel combined for a No. 2 doubles win, then split up to each win their singles matches, 8-1. Sophomore Zach Adler shut his opponent out at No. 3 singles.
