Several Mules celebrated National Girls and Women in Sports Day by teaching inner-city Allentown girls about lacrosse.

April 25: Great season ends in semis
Muhlenberg’s terrific season came to an end with an 18-8 loss to No. 4 Gettysburg in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference playoffs.

April 24: CC championship preview
Muhlenberg is a decided underdog in the Centennial Conference playoffs.

Amanda McGovern April 18: Mules clinch playoff berth
Muhlenberg clinched its second consecutive Centennial Conference playoff berth with a 16-12 win against Washington in its home finale. Junior Amanda McGovern (right) scored four goals, including the 100th of her career.

April 15: Muhlenberg beaten at Ursinus
Despite losing at Ursinus, 14-11, the Mules are still in solid position for a playoff berth.

Ashley Foltiny April 11: Mules resume winning ways
Muhlenberg bounced back from its loss to Franklin & Marshall by defeating Swarthmore, 13-7. Junior Ashley Foltiny (left) led the defense with four caused turnovers and picked up three ground balls.

April 8: Streak snapped by F&M
Two-time defending Centennial Conference champion Franklin & Marshall scored 14 first-half goals and went on to snap the Mules six-game winning streak, 19-10.

April 7: Muhlenberg receives national attention
For the first time in its history, Muhlenberg received votes in a national poll.

Angela Napoletano April 4: Big comeback leads to big win
Muhlenberg scored the last four goals of regulation – one by freshman Angela Napoletano (right) – and went on defeat McDaniel, 15-14, in overtime. With the win, the Mules tied the school record for consecutive wins (six) and avenged two losses to the Green Terror last year, one in the Centennial Conference playoffs.

Alyssa Bascelli April 1: Mules post big win against Dickinson
Muhlenberg scored one of the biggest wins in its history by defeating Dickinson, a team that has been nationally ranked most of the year, 12-10. Junior Alyssa Bascelli (left) netted the goal that put the Mules ahead to stay early in the second half.

March 30: McGovern named player of the week
Junior Amanda McGovern was named Centennial Conference offensive player of the week after leading the high-scoring Mules to a pair of wins.

Marguerite Farrell March 28: Win streak reaches four
Muhlenberg won its fourth straight game, 18-3 at Bryn Mawr. Senior Marguerite Farrell (right) picked up four ground balls for a defense that allowed only one goal in the first 52 minutes.

March 25: Mules win thriller in overtime
The Mules scored the last three goals of regulation to force overtime, where they went on to defeat Drew, 19-18. Senior Ruth Morrongiello scored five goals and set a school record with 10 draw controls.

Katie Ferris March 21: Muhlenberg picks up first CC win
Muhlenberg knocked off previously undefeated Haverford, 11-7, for its first Centennial Conference win of the season. Junior Katie Ferris (left) led an excellent defensive effort with six ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Sara Hiller March 18: Mules score early and often vs. Kean
The Mules tied a school record with 15 first-half goals and went on to defeat Kean, 20-5. Senior Sara Hiller (right) scored a career-high nine points on three goals and six assists.

Allisyn Vachon March 14: Muhlenberg hangs for a half
Muhlenberg trailed sixth-ranked Gettysburg by only one goal early in the second half before losing, 15-8. Sophomore Allisyn Vachon (left) made a career-high 16 saves.
