Khan Academy - Khan Academy helps you deepen your understanding and sharpen your skills with short videos and interactive exercises on a variety of topics including math and science.

Math-Specific Apps

Wolfram Alpha - Wolfram Alpha is a computational knowledge engine that allows you to calculate, solve, graph, and much more.

Photomath - Photomath reads and solves basic math problems using your phone's camera. It does not support handwritten or word-based problems.

Notetaking Tools

Evernote - Evernote is a web- and app-based tool that allows you to take notes, create to-do lists, save things you find online, annotate PDFs and pictures, sketch ideas, record audio and sync that information across all devices.

Scannable - Scannable is a great extension to Evernote which enables you to quickly and beautifully capture documents, images, and business cards. Once captured, you can save to Evernote, DropBox, or email as a PDF. This is especially useful for capturing class handouts or handwritten notes.

Notability - Notability is an app-based tool for taking notes.

Outlining and Organizing

Workflowy - Workflowy is a notebook for lists. Use it to be more creative and productive.

Trello - Trello’s boards, lists, and cards enable you to organize and prioritize your projects in a fun, flexible and rewarding way.

Easel.ly - Easel.ly allows you to create and share visual ideas in the form of infographics.

Citations

Zotero - Zotero helps you collect, organize, and cite your research sources.

Google Scholar - For quick citations in MLA, APA, or Chicago format, plug your source into Google Scholar and select cite.

File Sharing

Dropbox - Dropbox is a place for your photos, docs, videos, and other files. Files you keep in Dropbox are safely backed up, and you can get to them from all your devices. It’s easy to share large files with anyone, even if they don’t have a Dropbox account.
