The Creative Writing and Journalism Minor requires 6 courses, as follows:
- Introductory Courses in Writing: Students must complete at least two 200-level courses in writing.
- Advanced Writing Courses: Students must complete at least two courses at the 300-level or above. All of these courses have prerequisites.
- Elective in Writing: Students must complete one additional course in writing, at any level.
- Living Writers or another 300-level of higher course in literature: students must complete one course.
200 or 300-level Special Topics may substitute for the above requirements. Please contact the Director of the Creative Writing and Journalism Minor, Linda Miller.
