Dr. Montoya has a PhD and MA in Philosophy from Purdue University, a BA in Philosophy and BA in English from the University of New Mexico. Her areas of specialization include social and political philosophy, philosophy of race, and ethics and additional competencies in 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy and Environmental and Biomedical Ethics.
