Muhlenberg is offering limited capacity, on-campus outdoor tours for high school seniors. Tours will be conducted outdoors only to keep our community and guests safe. You must sign up in advance to help us disperse visitors throughout the day. In addition, campus visits will be limited to a maximum of 90 minutes. We will ask some COVID screening questions upon your arrival as well. To schedule your campus tour by appointment only, please go here. Please note: we will not be able to host visitors without an appointment.
If you are a high school student or transfer student who would like to visit campus on your own, we invite you to take our driving tourof campus. Registration is not required to take our driving tour but you must remain in your car during your visit. Additionally, we encourage you to explore our Virtual Tour from the safety of your home.
Please be sure that you, those with whom you are living and those with whom you are visiting campus are not experiencing symptoms of illness and have not been exposed to someone showing signs of illness. Some questions to ask yourself before arriving on campus:
In the last two weeks, have you cared for, lived with, or had close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19?
In the last two weeks, have you been notified that you may have been exposed to COVID-19?
Do you have any of these symptoms that are not caused by another condition?
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fever or chills
Muscle or body aches
Recent loss of taste or smell
Nausea or vomiting
If the answer is “yes” to any of these questions, please postpone your travel to campus. We will also be temperature checking all visitors.
Campus buildings are closed to visitors, so visits are outdoor only. Please do not enter any other building if a door is open or ask anyone on campus to give you access to a building. Some students, faculty and staff are on campus, and keeping them safe is the priority.
When you arrive for your campus tour, please enter the circle drive to park in your reserved parking spot on the front drive. You will see an Admissions Visitor sign with your name on it in front of the Haas College Center. We ask that you do not arrive on campus more than 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment. Please be aware that a campus visit is limited to a maximum of ninety minutes.
Once you have parked in your reserved spot, please call the Office of Admissions at 484-664-3200 to let us know that you have arrived. During this phone call, we will ask you to respond to symptom checker questions for all members of your group—student and up to two guests (family members living in the same household as the student)—and give you directions for checking in for your appointment. We will also be temperature checking all members of your party. Please do not come into the Office of Admissions without calling to notify us of your arrival. It is important that we follow health and safety protocols prior to you entering our building.
While we will have staff present on campus, we encourage you to take advantage of our virtual ways to connect with our Admissions staff. You can find your counselor here and request a virtual chat to get all of your questions answered.
Unfortunately, on-campus dining is not available at this time, but many restaurants in Allentown provide indoor and outdoor dining, take out and curbside pick-up. Check out more information on the Lehigh Valley for options.
