'88Scott Koerwer (Scott Fegley) has a lot of news to report. The former senior director of corporate management development at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Scott has been appointed associate dean and director of the Center for Executive Education at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. Along with his new job and a move to Ellicott City, Md., Scott and his wife Christine are also pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Julia McKenna Koerwer, on March 14, 2001.
Karen Parkin-Demmons reports that she and her husband Jack welcomed their second child, Jason, on May 11. His older brother Jared is 2 years old. The family lives in Southington, Conn. Brooke (Feldman) Jones and her husband Robert are pleased to announce the birth of their fourth child, Matthew Thomas on August 1, 2001. He joins Allison, age 5, Meredith, age 3, and Jack, age 2. Brooke also shares some news from some classmates: "I also spoke to Mike Barnett who works in New York City and just purchased a co-op. And Cindy Long married Ed Ridgeway in June of 2001 in the Keys, Florida. They live in Pennsylvania." Edward S. Thompson and his wife Kathleen proudly announce the birth of their son James Wallace Thompson. James was born on Monday, August 13 at 5:48 a.m. He weighed 8.8 lbs. and was 20 inches long. Ed is the assistant principal at Cavallini Middle School in Upper Saddle River, N.J. and Kathleen is a stay-at-home mom. The family is doing well.
'89Jeffrey Andre will marry Mary Bade on December 15, 2001 in Texas. Both Jeff and Mary have jobs working at universities in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Chris and Lucia (Mancuso) Elser '88 of Yorktown, N.Y. welcomed a new baby boy on May 15, 2001.
His name is Jack Anthony and he joins big brothers, Christopher, age 7, and Thomas, age 3. The family is building a new home in Putnam Valley, N.Y. and plans to move in the late fall. Lori (Rosenblum) Kenny and her husband Patrick proudly welcome their son, Josh, born on October 15, 2000. The family lives in the Bronx, N.Y.

'90 Sari (Axelrod) Canell and her husband Jay are pleased to announce the birth of their twins, Hayley and Dylan, on April 30, 2001. The family lives in New York. Lisa Pincus Clark and her husband Stephen welcomed their first child, Rebecca Abigail, on July 2, 2001. The family lives in Belmont, Mass. Brian Cusato has been named to the faculty of Sweet Briar College in Virginia as assistant professor of psychology. Brian recently earned his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Texas with a major in behavioral neuroscience and an evolutionary psychology minor. He previously taught as an instructor at Southwestern University of Texas,
the University of Texas at Austin, and Austin Community College. Laurie Alexander-Krom and John Krom celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary in July. Daughter Katherine Alexander Krom celebrated her first birthday on October 8, 2001. Laurie works as an attorney at Murtha Cullina LLP in Boston and John is a life insurance underwriter with John Hancock Financial, also in Boston. Karen (Klimek) Lomascola reports that she and her husband Lenny celebrated the birth of their first child, a baby girl, Kendall Paige, on June 21, 2001. Kendall was 7 lbs., 14 oz. and 20 inches long. Karen, a registered nurse, writes, "I absolutely love being a mom and plan on staying home with her for a while before going back to nursing." The family lives in Oak Ridge, N.J.
Christine (Brey) McNally began her third year of teaching at Windham Middle School in Willimantic, Conn., where she teaches fifth grade. She and her husband Tom recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on June 22. Their daughter Kaylie celebrated her seventh birthday on June 3 and started second grade this fall. The family resides in Lebanon, Conn. Arlen Groban Miller and her husband Scott are pleased to announce that a little more sweetness has arrived in their lives as they welcome Sophie Rose to their family. Sophie was born on June 11 and joins her big sister Hayley, who is 4 1/2 years old. The family lives in Rockville, Md. Adam Steinberg and his wife Allison would like to announce the birth of their first child, Zachary Lou, on April 4, 2001. Adam currently works for Professional Staffing Group in Boston, as their employment and training manager. The family lives in Salem, Mass.
'91On April 7, 2001, Charlene Afflitto married Robert Thomas. The couple was wed at the Union Congregational Church in Upper Montclair, N.J. and the reception was held at The Chanticleer in Short Hills, N.J.
Bridesmaids included classmates Tami (Marzulli) Krikorian, Missy (Granger) Mustion and Tracy (Reduzzi) Stednitz. Other alumni in attendance were Kendra (Rupp) Hogan, Stacy (Myer) Zanine, Regina (Quartarolo) Mysliborski, Danny Bierals, Caren Reingold '92, John Mustion '89 and Greg Krikorian '88. The couple resides in Summit, N.J. n On August 6, 2001, Mary Beth Doherty was married to Christopher Roth in County Monaghan, Ireland. Mary Beth says it was a magical day with about 25 family members and friends. When the couple returned to the United States, they were able to celebrate their marriage with most of their friends and family at a party on Long Island on August 24. Alumni who attended the party were JoAnn Gallo Gittleman, Susan Tuzzeo, and Jaymi Nervine '93. Mary Beth writes that greatly missed on that day were Kristen Flemming Cummings, Vera Parry Cross, and Ann Stark Pompiean. Mary Beth is currently a kindergarten teacher in the Bronx, N.Y.
Elizabeth A. Fitzsimmons has recently become associated with the law firm of Halloran & Sage LLC in Hartford, Conn. Liz concentrates on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation as well as appellate practice. On July 15, 2001, Joseph A. Maurice married Demetra Agriantonis. Alumni in attendance were Jed Carmona '92, Peter Joseph, Lawrence Kohan '92, Kristah Kohan, Timothy McElhinney, Dina Levinson, Mark Sprow '90, and John Michelin '90. Joseph is a partner in the litigation firm Chagaris & Maurice in Hackensack N.J., and Demetra is an assistant Bergen County prosecutor. The couple recently purchased a home in the Radburn section of Fair Lawn, N.J. Randy Schrader has started a new position as a corporate trainer with the Cendant Corporation's Cendant University in Parsippanny, N.J. In this role, he is responsible for helping employees increase productivity and effectiveness through improved interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Randy lives in Randolph, N.J.
