Paula S. Silverstein and her husband Bernard Ilkhanoff proudly announce the birth of their daughter Sophiá Beth Ilkhanoff, born Feb. 5, 2002. Sophiá joins older siblings, Justin, Benjamin and Sydnie. Paula continues to work full time as a partner in the Shrewsbury, Pa., law firm she runs with her husband.


Debra (Kortvelesy) Ciccone and her husband Peter are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter Natalie Jeanne Ciccone on Dec. 20, 2001. Natalie is welcomed by her 2-year-old brother Peter Joseph Ciccone III.


Lynn (Tuite) Cotton and her husband Tom are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, Aidan Thomas, born Nov. 4, 2001. Aidan weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 21.5 inches. Lynn has put her career as a business systems analyst on hold for a while to care for Aidan. She reports that the family is having a great time at their home in Erdenheim, Pa. Janelle (Hoch) Hess and her husband Kraig are proud to announce the birth of their daughter Mackenzie Elise, born on Jan. 30, 2002. Mackenzie joins Connor, age four, who is thrilled with his new job as a big brother. Janelle is enjoying the remainder of the school year at home, but will return to teaching Spanish at Emmaus High School in the fall.


Jonathan Abramowitz and his wife Stacy recently celebrated their daughter Emily’s first birthday. Jonathan is a clinical psychologist and head of the Anxiety Disorders Treatment and Research Program at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn. Susan Hubbard and her husband Brent are pleased to announce the arrival of their first child. Adam Liam was born on May 25, 2002 and weighed in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. The Hubbard family relocated to Indiana in July where Brent began a job with Eli Lilly & Co. Deborah (Coppola) and husband Stephen Scaringi ’92 are proud to announce the birth of their second child, Sophia Elena. Sophia was born at Boston’s Massachusetts General Hospital on June 11, 2002. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19 inches long. She joins 3-year-old big brother Nathan. The family is living in Westborough, Mass.

Stefanie (Baringer) Bauman and her husband Scott joyously welcomed the birth of their first child, Ethan William, born May 30, 2002. Stefanie and Scott were married on Nov. 4, 2000. Stefanie works at Lenape Valley Foundation as a social worker for children with mental health diagnoses. The family resides in Quakertown, Pa. Christopher J. Scott and Karen N. (Nave) Scott are the proud parents of twin boys, Brian Edward and Craig William Scott, born on Jan. 31, 2002, in Livingston, N.J. Eric Slaton and his wife Karen (Brown) ’94 are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Jessica Taylor Slaton, born Feb. 18, 2002. The happy family currently resides in southern New Hampshire. Karen is a technical project manager for Harvard University and is currently working part time in an effort to balance work and family. Michael Tantillo and his wife Megan celebrated the birth of their first child, Madeleine Grace, on Nov. 15, 2001. The couple currently resides in Wynnewood, Pa.

Theresa (De Paola) Myers and husband Jim welcomed the birth of their first child, James William Jr., on May 17, 2002. Theresa and Jim currently reside in Long Valley, N.J., and work in the Morris County area.


Anoure (DeFrain) Fenstermaker and her husband Robert celebrated the birth of their son, Rhys Matthew, on April 7, 2002. Anoure is currently self-employed as a marketing com-munications consultant and works part-time from her home office. The family lives in New Tripoli, Pa. Lynne (Wolckenhauer) Nicol and her husband Scott are proud to announce the birth of their son Matthew Ryan on May 7, 2002. The Nicol family resides in Huntersville, N.C.


Dr. Lori (Edelman) Erschen reports that she and husband Jason welcomed daughter Alexa Loran to the family on July 3, 2002. She weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Lori is finishing a family practice residency at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus. The family resides in Northampton, Pa. Cathy (Snyder) Wickenheiser and husband Kort Wickenheiser announce the birth of their second son, Christopher Snyder Wickenheiser. Born April 4, Christopher weighed 9 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 20.5 inches long. Their son Chase is five years old.


Elizabeth (Harms) Hagerup and her husband Ben proudly announce the birth of their second son, Zachary Zadok Hagerup, born July 13, 2002. Zachary weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 20.5 inches. Elizabeth reports the couple’s older son, one-and-a-half-year-old Tyler Benjamin, loves being a big brother. Elizabeth stays at home to care for her children. The family resides in Northumberland, Pa.


Jennifer (Klinger) and husband Chris LaCava ’96 proudly proclaim: “We had a baby girl! Katherine Amanda LaCava was born February 13, 2002, weighing 7 pounds, 9.5 ounces. She was 20 inches long. She joins her ‘sister’ Fargo, our four-year-old golden retriever.” Michael Wojtaszek and wife Wendy (Chuplis) Wojtaszek ’98 welcomed the birth of their first son, Logan Joseph, on Feb. 21, 2002. Logan weighed 9 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 21 inches. Michael works as an account manager for DiscMakers, the largest custom CD and CD-ROM manufacturer in the United States. Michael is responsible for managing clients’ jobs through production for the company, which is located in Pennsauken, N.J. The family makes its home in Marlton, N.J.

Abby (Ingber) and Alan Leipsner are pleased to announce their new arrival, Emma Jessie Leipsner. Emma was born April 22, 2002. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 21 inches. Abby reports: “Emma is absolutely precious. It is the most magical experience!”
