T his summer, more than 200 incoming
students and their families were welcomed into the Muhlenberg community
at the homes of alumni and parents in 10 East Coast regions. A warm
thank you goes out to all of the hosts for our first-year student gatherings.
Your hospitality embodies the caring spirit of Muhlenberg College and
T he College is pleased to welcome several ’Berg alums to our alumni and development staff. Among our recent hires include two members of the Class of 2002 who have decided to begin their professional lives at Muhlenberg, and a Class of 1992 graduate who has made his way back to Muhlenberg via New York state.
Jennifer McKee ’02 has joined the staff as the assistant director
of alumni relations. Jen is responsible for developing alumni campus
events such as Homecoming and Reunion, working with the Cardinal Key
Society and developing young alumni
While a student, Jen was active in various groups including the Cardinal Key Society and women’s basketball; she also served as tour guide coordinator for three years. Jen is looking forward to meeting and working with alumni!
Also new to the development office is Adam Marles ’02, who joined the team as associate director of the Muhlenberg Fund. Adam will spend most of his time traveling along the East Coast meeting alumni, keeping them apprised of up-to-the-minute College news and soliciting operational support.
As a student, Adam was very involved on campus, especially with Residential Services and Judicial Affairs.
Adam will be working with David E. Haight III ’92, who was recently
named senior associate director of the Muhlenberg Fund. Haight returns
to Muhlenberg from the Frost Valley YMCA in Claryville, N.Y., where
he served for seven years as
Prior to his tenure at Frost Valley YMCA, David spent four years as a police officer and one year as a police investigator at Muhlenberg. He is currently a student at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University, specializing in nonprofit management.
David’s duties in the development office will include organizing the fundraising activity for the Parents Fund and athletic programs.
