The Tradition Lives On

In every family there are traditions. This year, the Muhlenberg tradition
continued for the families of 27 legacies in the Class of 2007. Pictured are some of the newest legacies, who began their own Muhlenberg journeys this fall.

A Warm ’Berg Thanks for a Gracious ’Berg Welcome!

The office of alumni relations would like to thank the hosts of the First-Year Gatherings held this past summer to welcome the Class of 2007 to Muhlenberg. These gatherings provide a wonderful opportunity for incoming first-year students to meet classmates and other students, and to learn more about Muhlenberg before move-in day in August. This year a total of nine gatherings were held, welcoming 103 students — and a total of 340 guests including parents and siblings. Many thanks to all of our hosts for their generosity and continued support of Muhlenberg!

Life for Life for You

You may not realize it, but for nearly three decades, the Alumni Association has offered life insurance as a service to our alumni. Now, an enhanced life insurance plan — Life for Life — is available to the Muhlenberg community. All alumni and their families, including spouses, parents, and adult children, are eligible to apply. Watch your mail for more details or contact the alumni office or our program administrator at 800-635-7801 or www.meyerandassoc.com.

We Need You!

Thanks to the generous support of PNC Bank, the offices of alumni relations and career development and placement will continue Alumni in the Classroom Week this spring during the week of March 22-26, 2004. This year’s program has been expanded, offering even more opportunities for alumni involvement. Alumni interested in participating should contact Shawn Zeplin ’04, presidential assistant of alumni relations, at 484-664-3308 or szeplin@muhlenberg.edu.
