'99 Paul "Chip" Chantry can be found in comedy clubs around Philadelphia performing stand-up. Chip writes, "I have not quit my day job yet, but we'll see!" He resides in Norristown, Pa. Allyson Crooks was married to Rick Thoms on Aug. 11, 2001, at The Holy Family Church in Nutley, N.J. Lisa DeSimone and Stacy Devine were bridesmaids in the wedding party. The couple honeymooned in Maui and bought their first home together in Morris Township, N.J. Allyson is a second-grade teacher in Chatham, N.J. Stephen M. and Susan M. (Kraaij) Day were married on Aug. 18, 2001, at 1st & St. Stephen's Church in Baltimore, Md. Susan is working on her master's degree in elementary education with certification. She currently is a teacher in Newtown, Pa. The couple resides in Philadelphia. Jennifer A. Grosse was recently accepted into the educational theater graduate program at New York University. She will spend her summer studying in London and Cork, Ireland. Jennifer is a fourth-grade teacher for the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District in Princeton, N.J. She resides in Mercerville, N.J. n Chirag Kalola sends the following update: "I'm in my third year at Tulane University school of medicine. I'll be getting married on Dec. 26, 2002, to Kamini Bhakta, who's a first-year medical student in Fort Worth, Texas." UBS PaineWebber Inc. announced that Paul J. Marin has joined the firm's Bethlehem office as a senior vice president. A resident of Emmaus, he is a trustee of Muhlenberg College and a member of the Emmaus Main Street Program. n Allison McConomy moved to Philadelphia in June to attend the graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania. Allison will be working as a project manager for OUTREACH. Joseph Morris writes in to share news of his brother, Andrew '01, who has been a recovery worker at the World Trade Center since late September. Joseph writes that he thought the Muhlenberg community "would be proud to know that a Muhlenberg graduate just out of college less than six months is making a difference at the site of one the greatest tragedies in American history. My brother has no idea that I am writing you guys." Tara (Dierking) Pepe graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2001 with a master's of social work degree. On Aug. 18, 2001, she married Rich Pepe. Noelle Bates and Aimee Van Eenennaam were bridesmaids. Other alumni in attendance were Erica Weinstein, Ellen (Maisano) McClary and Chris McClary. Tara is a social worker in Trenton, N.J. The couple resides in Edgewater Park, N.J. Kimberley Stubits has recently been employed by the law firm of Hughes, Kalkbrenner & Asdhead, LLP in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., as a paralegal. She lives in Lehighton, Pa. Samantha Thomas became engaged to Jason Goldberg in December 2001. They are busy planning their November 2002 wedding. Laura Langan and David Konciak flew from New Jersey to Charleston, S.C., to be part of the surprise engagement. Samantha is a first-grade teacher at Killian Elementary School in Columbia, S.C.
