Anne Stanley Trapani and her husband, William, are proud to announce the arrival of Nicolas William on February 12, 2003. He joins Kate, Daniel and Laura as the newest member of the Trapani family.


Doug Newsome and his wife, Kimberly, announce the arrival of their fourth child, Tyler James, on February 10, 2003. Tyler weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces. Their other children are named Jack, Andrew and Bailey.


Heidi (Dufner) Harkopf writes that she and husband Dirk welcomed Rebecca Maria, who joins big sister Isabella, on October 30, 2002. Heidi is a dietitian for the New England Dairy and Food Council. Michelle Aimone Henderson and her husband, Michael, announce the birth of their son Brian Robert, born March 19, 2003. Brian’s big brother is Patrick Thomas, born in January 2001. Jake Matyas and his wife, Lisa, announce the birth of their first child Luke Joseph Matyas, born on March 3, 2003. Joan (Tichansky) Molee and her husband, Anthony, welcomed their second daughter, Francesca Noelle, into the family on December 12, 2002. She joins big sister Dominique Ava, who will be 4 in May. “I was teaching prior to Dominique’s birth but I left to become a stay-at-home mom, which is the hardest (though most rewarding) job I’ve ever had,” writes Joan. “We’ve got lots of alums involved in our family - aunt Janet Anne (Tichansky) Malcolm ’82 and aunt and uncle Linda Jaye Molee-O’Brien ’82 and Walter O’ Brien ’82. Francesca was even delivered by alum Arthur Suffin ’64! Muhlenberg is destined to forever be a part of my family!”


Susan (Cunningham) and Keith Fader ’91 welcome the addition of Alexandra Camille, born April 26, 2002. She joins Kyle, 7, and Ryan, 5. The family resides in Margate, N.J. Keith is director of sales for Equity Communication, which represents nine radio stations, and Susan is a full-time mom. Janet (Geist) and Rob DeLaubell ’87 welcomed Conner Robert on March 10, 2003. Rob writes that Janet and Conner are both doing well. Conner joins sister Alyssa, 5, and Benjamin, 3. Courtney Lisecki-Galgano writes that 2002 was an exciting year for her and her husband, Paul – they welcomed their first child, Alexandra Nevarte, on May 3. Courtney is now the president of the Junior League of Bergen County. She attended several Junior League conferences with Maggie Mann Viklund ’87, president of the Junior League of Long Island. Karen (Miller) Marino and her husband David welcomed their daughter Isabella on August 12, 2002. Isabella joins big sister Alessandra, age 4. The family is living in Cheshire, Conn., where Karen enjoys being a stay-at-home mom after “retiring” from an insurance sales career last year. Karen maintains close friendships with many of her Benfer 201 suitemates and enjoys spending time with them and their growing families.


On January 10, 2003, Sloane and Bob Belitz welcomed the birth of their daughter, Devyn Nicole, 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Devyn joins big brother Ryan, who turned 2 in February. Joseph Raniere, Jr., and his wife, Deborah, have settled in Peachtree City, Ga., just south of Atlanta. Joseph has a busy plastic and cosmetic surgery practice (Advanced Aesthetics, P.C.). They are proud to announce the birth of their second daughter, Julia Marie Raniere, born March 7, 2003. Her big sister, Brooke Ellyse, turned two in October 2002. Rick Wernli and his wife, Diana, announce the birth of their first child, Miranda, on December 16, 2002. Miranda was born at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital in New York City at 11:27 p.m., and weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces.


Benjamin Gitterman writes that he and his wife, Debra, had their first child, Elias Samuel, on November 20, 2002. David Leonoff and his wife Julie happily announce the birth of their first child, Matthew Jordan, on September 5, 2002. The family lives in Smithtown, N.Y. David is a periodontist. He would love to hear from old friends. His e-mail address is Joe Maselli and his wife, Brenda, welcomed their daughter Margaret Anne (Maggie), born in March of 2002. Paul ’92 and Leslie (Lund) Mattioli announce the birth of their daughter Addison Paige. Born February 14, 2003, Addison weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. Addison joins her three year old sister, Taylor, in the Mattiolis’ suburban Atlanta home.


Kelly (Beam) O’Shaughnessy and her husband, John, will celebrate their daughter Taylor’s first birthday on May 31. Kelly is a stay-at-home mom and loves every minute of it! The O’Shaughnessys live in King of Prussia, Pa. Amy (Kuptsow) Fels and her husband, Eric, are pleased to announce the birth of their second daughter, Brenna Eileen, on January 26, 2002. She joins big sister Allyson Brynn, who turns four on May 13. The family lives in Orefield, Pa., where Eric practices nephrology in the Lehigh Valley and Amy is a stay-at-home mom. Alison (Lehmann) Mahoney and her husband, Patrick, welcomed their son Ian James on February 5, 2003. Ian joins big brother Seth, who turned 3 in April. Alison works two days a week as a medical social worker. The family lives in Harrington Park, N.J. Douglas and Deborah (Silver) Peterson announce that their daughter Jamie was born December 20, 2002. Her brother Ty turned two years old on February 1, 2003.
