Dawn (Smith) Bye and her husband, Jeremy Bye, announce the birth of their daughter, Haidyn Elizabeth. Haidyn was born December 16, 2002, and everyone is doing well! Frank and Jennifer (Cusato ’93) Sessa are pleased to announce the birth of their second child, Dominic Anthony, on October 25, 2002. Dominic weighed 9 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. He was eagerly greeted by his big sister, Isabella, who is now 3 years old. Kimberly (Mitchell) and Timothy Silvestri ’91 proudly announce the birth of their twin daughters, Elle and Aidan, on April 22, 2003. They are also celebrating Tim’s graduation from Lehigh University, where he received his Ph.D. in counseling in January. The couple recently moved back to the area after living in Center City Philly, and now reside in Allentown. Tim is a psychologist at Lafayette College and Kim works as a victim advocate and sexual assault counselor for Crime Victims Council. Tim and Kim will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary this fall. Susan (Cunningham) Fader ’88 writes that Mark Barbadora ’92 and his wife, Lisa, welcomed their first child, Taylor Ann, in March 2002.

Todd Denys and his wife, Karen, happily announce the birth of their daughter Julia Carolyn on March 24, 2003. Julia weighed in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces and 20 inches long. On March 1, 2003, Bruce Miller and wife Deborah celebrated the one-year anniversary of bringing home their son, Nathaniel, from Guatemala. He is a beautiful child of Mayan descent. In the fall of ’02, Bruce left his job as director of an experiential learning program to attain a New York State teacher’s certification in earth science. Deborah is a seventh-grade math teacher in Cooperstown, N.Y. They hope to bring home a sister for Nathaniel, also from Guatemala, this summer. The family lives in Fly Creek, N.Y. Teddy Pritikin and his wife, Mindy, celebrated the birth of their second child, Danielle Avery, on March 4, 2003. Danielle weighed 6 lbs., 10 oz. and measured 18 1/2 inches. Her big sister, Zoe, will be 3 this summer. Teddy is an account executive at Game Show Network in Manhattan. He and his family live in Livingston, N.J. Karen (Swavely) Billger and husband Dan welcomed the birth of their first child, Justin Daniel, on November 4, 2002. “We have truly been blessed with such a beautiful and healthy baby boy,” writes Karen. Jenn (VanWoert) ’93 and Cuong Tran ’91 announce the birth of their second child, Mason Steere Bao Tran, born April 25, 2003, at 10:20 p.m. Mason weighed in at 5 pounds, 15 1/2 ounces, 19 inches long. Jay Walton and Meredith Mitstifer ’94 welcomed their first child, Ryan Henry Mitstifer Walton, on New Year’s Eve, 2002 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Ryan was born premature at 8 pounds, 1 3/4 ounces, 21 inches long! Marcy (Wychulis) O’Connell and her husband, Christopher, welcomed their second beautiful boy, Patrick Michael, on September 28, 2002. Patrick weighed 10 pounds, 6 ounces. He joins big brother Daniel, age 2.

Cynthia (McBride) Bennewitz and her husband, Daniel, announce the birth of their first child, Kevin Daniel. Kevin was born on July 31, 2002 and weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 22 inches long. Sarah E. (Runke) Caswell, her husband, Collin, and their daughter Morgan Lacey, age 4, welcomed Emily Elizabeth on June 11, 2002. “The girls are great and keep me busy,” Sarah writes. “I am working from home doing healthcare administration in order to be a full-time mom and enjoying every minute of the crazy schedule that I keep.” On February 13, 2003, David Shatz and his wife, Kristina, welcomed their first daughter, Hannah Margaret.

Jennifer (Rotondo) Waddell and her husband Michael are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Grace Sophia, on January 12, 2003. She weighed in at 7 lbs, 6 oz and was 20 inches long. “The baby and I are doing well and will be at home together until August 2003, when I will resume teaching at Augustana College,” Jennifer writes. “She is, by far, the world’s most beautiful baby!”

Kristin O’Keefe Robinson and her husband, Glenn, announce the joyous birth of their first child, Logan David, on October 16, 2002. Logan weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 21 inches long. Glenn is a senior manager for Standard and Poors; Kristin was a manager for Aventis Pharmaceuticals, but is now a stay-at-home mom – the most important job of her life!

Farshid and Nicole (Dedes) Nasseri were blessed with a very healthy, happy baby boy last May. Steven Alan Nasseri was born on May 6, 2002 weighing 5 pounds, 15 ounces. Mom, Dad and Steven are all doing quite well. Farshid owns The Tidal Wave, a bar/restaurant on the lake in Hopatcong, N.J., and Nicole is working as a senior accountant at New York Life Insurance in Manhattan. Courtenay (Cooper) Hall and her husband, Dan, joyfully announce the birth of their first child, Lindsay Elizabeth, born on April 14, 2003. Richard T. Seaman, Jr., and his wife Rebecca proudly announce the birth of their first child, Olivia Mae, born on April 1, 2003. Not due until April 23, Olivia was a welcomed surprise weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measuring 21 inches. The family lives in Northampton, Pa., and are overjoyed with the addition of their “little angel” to the family!
