| ’99 | Jessica Bartman and Robert Schmidt wed on August 3, 2002, in Egner Memorial Chapel. Elisabeth Anderson was one of the bridesmaids. David Konciak and Marc Lezinski served as groomsmen. Anthony Orazi and Ryan Fescina served as ushers. Other Muhlenberg alumni in attendance included Amy (Kleppinger) Orazi, Robert Pedinoff, Michael DePalma, Christopher Moraitis ’00, Holly Schwab ’02, Veronica Stafford and Keith Harris ’97. Rob and Jess currently reside in Hoboken, N.J. Jolly Benitez and Enrique Becerra became engaged on November 23, 2002. They plan to be married on July 4 in Bergen County, N.J., and will honeymoon in Florida. Jo writes that she and Enrique plan to stay in the Hightstown, N.J., area, where she works with second and third grade students in the East Windsor Regional School District. “We look forward to married life,” she says. Jason C. Bergman is an associate in the real estate department of the Long Island law firm Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP. Elizabeth C. Byrne completed her master’s of business administration at Rosemont College, Rosemont, Pa., in May 2002. Benjamin David writes that he is a rabbinical student at the Hebrew Union College. The author of “So This Is Wilderness and Other Stories,” Ben is currently at work on his first novel. He and his wife, Lisa, live in Hoboken, N.J. On November 9, 2002, Samantha (Thomas) and Jason Goldberg were married in Charleston, S.C. They enjoyed a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean and now live in Charleston, where Samantha teaches fourth grade and Jason is in the ceramic tile and stone business. ’Berg alumni in the wedding party were maid of honor Laura Langan, Christine Barbee, Sara (Freitag) Collins and Dave Konciak. Mindy Henne and Harold Gruber announce their engagement. Mindy is a manufacturing technician/document specialist at Aventis Pasteur. Harold is a warehouse specialist at Pfizer and attends Albright College. They live in Manheim, Pa. Jessica (Hirsh) and Scott Normington of Allentown, Pa., were married in October 2002 in Baltimore, Md., where they reside. ’Berg alumni in attendance were Mitzi Stein, Stephanie Pittocco, Jessica Peskin, Liza Barker, Susan Karakawa and Kate Lederman ’01. Jessica is an advertising account executive at the Leffler Agency in Baltimore. Jamie Kaplan is pleased to announce her engagement to Jim Harris of Basking Ridge, N.J. Jamie is a fourth-grade teacher. Eli Katz is currently the business manager at Youth Theatre Northwest in Mercer Island, Wash. She performs with a number of theatres in Seattle, and her most recent role was in “The Last Night of Ballyhoo.” Allison McConomy won the Betsy and Garold Leach Scholarship for Museum Studies from the Delta Zeta Foundation. Allison is currently attending graduate school in government administration at the University of Pennsylvania. Kenneth Snover has been named vice president of expositions for the Association of Equipment Managers (AEM), responsible for the association’s expositions, education and membership departments. This includes overseeing AEM’s trade show activities as co-owner and co-producer of the CONEXPO-CON/AGG international con-struction and construction materials exposition and owner and producer of the ICUEE International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition. Ken and his family will live in the Milwaukee, Wisc., area. Before joining AEM, Ken served 24 years with IR Co. in Annandale, N.J., most recently as manager of marketing communications. Wedding bells are ringing for Aimee VanEenennaam and Elliot Goodman, both students at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. They became engaged February 13, 2003, and are planning a September 2004 wedding. Upon their graduation from LECOM in June, Aimee will be a pediatric resident physician at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, N.J., and Elliot, a 1997 graduate of Cornell University, will be an ER intern physician at Union Hospital in Union, N.J. Erica Weinstein graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University, College of Medicine, in May 2003. She will be starting a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in July 2003. Lisa Weiss is the hair and makeup supervisor at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. She writes that she’s also done freelancing wigmaking for the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C., and the Goodman Theatre in Chicago. Rosemary Welsh writes that she is engaged and planning an April 2004 wedding!

| ’00 | Chris Cannell is finishing his master’s degree in physician assistant studies. He plans to marry Stacy Waggett, a certified physician assistant, on August 31 in Massachusetts; they plan to live in the Boston area. Dan “Ike” Eichelberger has been promoted to program director at Eckerd Youth Alternatives. He has been working with emotionally troubled youth in a wilderness camp setting since September 2000. Joe Fiore reports that he is no longer an accountant – he’s now a financial advisor with UBS PaineWebber in Long Branch, N.J. Joe lives in Red Bank, N.J. Julie Kaltenbaugh lives in Baltimore, Md., where she works for Legg Mason, an asset management firm. Elise Mazzola joyfully announces her engagement to Tyler Stripko of Rahway, N.J. They are busy planning a May 2004 wedding. On October 12, 2002, Joe Melograna married Kiernan Brady at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Reading, Pa. One of the officiants was Father John Krivak. Muhlenberg alumni in the wedding party were matron of honor Tammy (Rismiller) Murray and groomsmen Thomas Murray and Shawn Quinn. Other alumni in attendance included Chris Cannell, Beth Hughes, George Brommer, Matt Skilton, William Diefenderfer ’02, Jennifer Risley ’02, Dan Terpstra ’97 and Sarah Weiss ’01. Joe and Kiernan honeymooned in Aruba. Since May 2002, Joe has worked as an engineer for Materials Sciences Corporation in Fort Washington, Pa. The company focuses on design and development of structures made of composite materials. Stacy Mullen writes that she is pursuing an educational specialist degree in school psychology from Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J. “To pay for it all,” she writes, “I have accepted a position as an accommodations coordinator at Rider for students with learning and physical disabilities, and am also a part-time nanny!” Mandy (Vogt) and Joseph Ostrom were married October 13, 2002. Mandy teaches mathematics at Delaware Valley High School in Milford, Pa. Lyndsy Wright is a special educator in St. Albans, Vt., and is working on her master’s in special education at UVM. At Christmas, she writes, she became engaged to Josh Blais, originally from Ludlow, Vt.
