Susan (Presson) Queenan and her husband, Patrick, welcomed their second child, Jack, January 17, 2004. Jack joins his big sister, Karli, who was 18 months old when he was born. Jack weighed 8 lbs, 6 oz. and was 20 inches long.
Amy (Vescio) Cook and her husband, Bob, announce the birth of their son, Aidan James, on March 3, 2004. Aurora and Scott Shapleigh welcomed their second daughter, Sophie Catherine, on March 15, 2004. Sophie weighed 7 lbs, 4 oz. The family, including big sister Leah, lives in Davidsonville, Md. Scott is the recycling manager for the U.S. Senate and Aurora is a senior project manager for an architectural consulting firm.
Jim Burden and his wife, Colleen, are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, Courtney Hana, on March 29, 2004. “We are so excited to have her with us and cannot wait for her to see Muhlenberg for the first time,” Jim says. Larissa (Brescia) Johnson and Andy Johnson ’96 welcomed a new addition to their family when Luke Thomas was born October 1, 2003. He joins big sister Kayden Alexis. The family lives in Harrisburg, Pa. Allison (LaSapio) Twohig and her husband, Seamus, are proud to announce the birth of their first child, a son. Seamus Sebastian was born March 19, 2004. He weighed 8 lbs, 13 oz, and measured 20 inches long. The family lives in Morristown, N.J.
Paul and Marigrace (Canter) Morris welcomed their son, William Stephen, into the world June 8, 2003. He was a month early, but very healthy at 6 lbs, 6.5 oz. “My husband and I are enjoying parenthood – it is the best job we’ve ever had,” says Marigrace. The Morrises live in Manhattan. Marigrace is finishing her master’s degree in special education and general education, while teaching and running her own private tutoring business. “A big hello to the Muhlenberg community,” she says.
Lori (Schnedeker) Kaprowski and her husband, Craig, are happy to announce the birth of their twins, James and Juliana. They were born December 8, 2003, at Saint Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, N.J. Lori teaches sixth grade in Kenilworth, N.J. The family lives in Scotch Plains, N.J. Wendy (Chuplis) and Michael Wojtaszek ’97 welcomed their second son, Lucas Michael, September 1, 2003. Lucas weighed 9 lbs, 1 oz and was 21 inches long. Lucas and his big brother, Logan, are having fun at home with Wendy, who recently decided to make being “Mom” her full-time job. Michael is a customer service manager with Discmakers, Inc., in Pennsauken, N.J. The family lives in Marlton, N.J.
