||Dr. Raymond W. Andrews passed away November 9, 2003,
in Providence N.E. Hospital. He is survived by his wife
of 31 years, Mildred Huston Andres, a son, Raymond W. Andrews,
Jr., a daughter, Charlotte Andrews Lloyd, a stepson, John
O. Huston, III, and a stepdaughter, Shelly I. Huston.
||Dr. John R. Brokhoff died December 8, 2003, at Northeast
Georgia Medical Center. His wife, Barbara, survives him,
along with daughters Helen Landel, Virginia Waits, Wendy
Shook and Jodi Barnett, and son John Lawrenceville.
||Walter M. Abele died December 6, 2003.
||Edward Blum died November 22, 2002.
||John W. Benedick died September 15, 2002. He is survived
by his daughter, Diana Benedick Jeans, and sons John and

San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his sons, Arthur,
John, Paul and Carl Hafner.
||Dr. Daniel Masley died December 10, 2003, at his home
in Bethlehem, Pa.
||Life trustee W. Clarke Wescoe, for whom The Wescoe School
of Muhlenberg College is named, died February 29, 2004,
in Mission, Kan. He is survived by his children, William,

27, 2003, at home. His son, Larry Rothenberger, survives
||G. Robert Muller, Sr., died in his West Amwell, N.J.,
home, February 5, 2004. He is survived by his children,
George R. Muller, Jr., Joanne Muller Coles and Mark R.
||Dr. Douglas M. Costabile passed away February 24, 2004.
||Joseph W. Ware passed away December 27, 2003, at Doylestown
Hospital. He is survived by his sons, Joseph and Eric.
||Leon Boguslaw died January 19, 2004.
||The Rev. David J. Hoh died December
23, 2003, at York Hospital. His wife, Adele, survives him.
||Dr. George H. Sutton passed away January
26, 2004. His wife, Sharon, survives him, along with daughters
Cindy Sutton, Jennifer Lomu and Suzanne Undercofler and
son George H. “Chip” Sutton, Jr.
||William J. Laughlin died February 14, 2004, in Towson,
Md. He is survived by his wife, Anna, as well as son Craig
and daughters Laura Hillsboro and Linda Carroll.
||The Rev. John E. Drzik passed away January 7, 2004, in
Lantana, Fla. His wife, Ruth, survives him.
||Charles C. Newhall died October 29, 2003.

||Dr. Ronald Pennock passed away September 7, 2003.
||Robert B. Lund passed away May 18, 2003, at Haven Hospice,
||Dianne H. Myers died at home, February 15, 2004. Her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Myers, survive her.
||Richard T. Novrosky died December 11, 2003, at St. Luke’s
Hospital. His wife, Peggy, survives him.
||The College recently learned of Jeanette
Weinstock’s death in April 2001.
||Thomas F. Kulik passed away December 23, 2003, at home.
He is survived by his former wife, Theresa Macy, and sons
Gregory and Nicholas.
Virginia R. Graver passed away December 23, 2003, at St.
Luke’s Hospital. Along with her husband, the late Dr.
Lee Graver ’31, Mrs. Graver gifted the 64-acre Lee
and Virginia Graver Arboretum to Muhlenberg in 1994. Located
in Bushkill Township, the Graver Arboretum is used as an
outdoor classroom by the biology and other science departments
for research and study.
Dr. Thomas F. Lohr, professor
of psychology, emeritus, passed away December 19 in Allentown.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, June, as well as
sons Frederick and Philip, daughters Jennifer Johnson and
Phoebe Moore, and 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Dr. Lohr served the psychology department for 29 years before
retiring in 1984 as department chair.
